SIAYA: Police in Siaya are investigating gruesome murder of a 30-year-old lady at Karapul Estate in SIaya town.
The deceased, identified as Anita Amulavu, who works at one of the local hotel within the town was seen last on Sunday April 13.
After missing work for three days, the colleagues became concerned after a series of phone calls went unanswered.
They then proceeded to her area of residence where they learned of the unfortunate incident.
Her lifeless body was lying inside her rented house with visible wounds.
“The body of one Anita Amulavu, aged about 30 years, was this afternoon found inside her residential house near Karapul Primary school. The door was closed and locked with a padlock from outside,” read a police incident report seen by Kondele News.
The body was taken to Siaya County Referral Mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
