Two men who disguised as “queens of massage” arrested in Nairobi

NAIROBI: Detectives in Kasarani have arrested two men accused of orchestrating an online con game by posing as attractive women offering professional massage services—only to make off with their victims’ valuables instead.

The suspects, Alex Mugo Wachira and Simon Chomba Mbogo, allegedly used enticing online ads to lure unsuspecting clients into their trap.

Promising top-tier massage sessions, the pair would bait victims with alluring photos and convincing conversations.

One victim, hoping for a relaxing spa experience, visited the supposed massage location along Lumumba Drive in Kasarani. But instead of scented oils and soft music, he was met with a far less soothing surprise.

Shortly after the session began, the “masseuses” pulled out knives, revealing not only their true identities but also their complete lack of massage skills.

The victim was coerced into transferring Sh280,000 to the suspects’ mobile number and was robbed of additional personal belongings before being tossed out.

Following the report filed at Kasarani Police Station, detectives launched investigations and, using forensic evidence, tracked down the suspects. The duo was found unwinding at a popular chilling spot near the Kamiti prison area—possibly enjoying the spoils of their deceptive trade.
