Celebrated comedian Eric Omondi is searching for a grandmother who took six chickens to a school as payment for her grandchildren’s fee arrears.
Omondi made the appeal on his Facebook page, asking anyone who knows the woman to help him get in touch with her.
“Please help me find this mother. If you know her, please DM me or comment with her number. Asante,” wrote the comedian.
The woman touched the hearts of many Kenyans after a photo of her sitting with her grandchildren at the waiting bay of Adiedo Mixed Secondary School in Homa Bay County went viral. She had brought the chickens in an attempt to clear a fee balance of KSh 245,000.
Omondi, through his Sisi Kwa Sisi initiative, has frequently extended support to needy families across the country.
