ISIOLO: An intelligence-led operation conducted by police officers from Kathare Police Station, supported by National Police Reservists from Buuri East and Isiolo, resulted in a successful confrontation with livestock theft suspects.

Following the theft of the animals, the multi-agency team tracked down the criminals.

During the operation, the officers exchanged fire with the suspects, eventually managing to subdue them and recover all the stolen livestock.

The animals were then safely escorted back to Kathare Police Station and returned to their rightful owners.

While the operation was a success, efforts are currently underway to pursue and apprehend the suspects who managed to escape and remain at large.
