Nominated MP Teresiah Wanjiru Mwangi has called on President William Ruto to dismiss Public Service CS Moses Kuria from the cabinet.
This is not the first time the Public Service boss has clashed with members of his community.
Known for his outspoken nature, Mr. Kuria often speaks bluntly on public issues.
Ms. Teresiah remarked, “As a representative from Kiambu, we have lost confidence in his maturity, given his recent public and social media statements.”
On June 27, Mr. Kuria used his social media platform to directly implicate Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in the unrest linked to Generation Z in Central Kenya. He absolved former President Uhuru Kenyatta of allegations of incitement.
“I have my differences of opinion and style with my friend Uhuru Kenyatta. But for all the years I have known him he has never sponsored violence in Mt Kenya region unlike your fake DO Dimwit Kingpin who burnt Nyeri, Embu, Thika, Kikuyu Township etc. Ni mimi na yeye sasa Omundu Khu Mundu. Kari gani ?!” he posted.
This did not go well with the leaders from the same region who castigated him for disrespect to the office of Mr Gachagua.
