Dr. Christine Ombaka has characterized the current demonstrations in Kenya as a revolution, suggesting that Ethiopia, Uganda, and Somalia perceive the country as a puppet of the West.
She criticized Kenya Kwanza MPs for not understanding the Finance Bill, emphasizing that Kenya’s alignment as a non-NATO ally could unnecessarily provoke conflict with Russia.
Dr. Ombaka noted that former President Uhuru Kenyatta, through Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, enjoyed strong ties with African leaders, whereas President Ruto’s administration has led to Kenya’s isolation.
She accused the National Assembly Speaker of undermining the Azimio majority whip and the Executive of corrupting some Azimio members to join the Kenya Kwanza regime.
The Siaya Woman MP, who is also eyeing the Gem Constituency seat in 2027, urged President Ruto to take responsibility and cease blame games.
She called for the end of social support systems and handout mentalities, advocating instead for a cultural shift towards self-reliance and meritocracy. She also highlighted the inefficiencies in devolution, noting that 80% of devolved funds are consumed by recurrent expenditures.
Dr. Ombaka encouraged the youth, particularly Gen Z, to elect leaders who prioritize action over dialogue and resist Western influence. She also urged the president to dissolve Parliament and order the acting Inspector General of Police to stop the abduction of innocent Kenyans by rogue policemen.
