KENDU BAY: Police in Kendu Bay are searching for a man suspected of killing his four-year-old son, Raphael Odhiambo, by allegedly hitting the child’s face on the floor and subsequently fleeing the scene.

According to a police incident report seen by Kondele News, the tragic discovery was made by the child’s mother, Mildred Anyango, upon returning home late at night after closing her business.

The report states, “Upon reaching the house, she saw traces of blood all over and realized that her child, Raphael Odhiambo, aged 4 years, was dead and had been wrapped in a blanket.”

Officers from Kendu Bay and the DCI Rachuonyo North visited the scene, where they found the deceased lying inside the rented house.

The report further revealed that the father, Stephen Otieno, 24, had assaulted the child by hitting his face on the floor before escaping.

The police processed and documented the scene, and the body of the minor was moved to Gendia Adventist Hospital Mortuary for an autopsy
