Detectives from the DCI Kibra have arrested Brian Otieno Maurice, the prime suspect in the murder of Sospeter Osunga, popularly known as “Akoko the Billionaire.”
The incident occurred on November 18, 2024, in the Ayani area of Kibra.
Investigations revealed that Osunga was fatally attacked by a gang, sustaining fatal injuries to his back inflicted by a sharp object.
Following comprehensive investigations, three suspects were initially apprehended and provided crucial information.
This, combined with other intelligence leads, led to the arrest of the primary suspect.
Brian Otieno Maurice was arraigned in court early this wee and has been detained for 30 days as police continue with investigations.
