It is Agai; The Nyanza Football Champions

Agai Secondary School pulled off a stunning performance to clinch victory in the just-concluded Nyanza Regional Secondary Schools Term 2 Games.

In a packed stadium filled with dignitaries, Morgan Onyango of Agai launched a missile just minutes into the second half, a goal that completely destabilized their opponents, Kisumu Boys.

Kisumu Boys quickly changed tactics, making three substitutions in a bid to reclaim their glory. According to local soccer pundits, the equally balanced ball possession between the two teams kept spectators enthralled throughout the match.

Then, in the 86th minute, Moses Otieno sealed Kisumu Boys’ fate, sending them out of the tournament.

Agai’s coach, Moses Juma, noted that the victory came with many challenges but commended his team for their composure and desire to win.

“The journey hasn’t been smooth,” said Juma. “Football at this level is incredibly competitive. Our path to the regional championship has been full of ups and downs, but the players have remained calm and focused.”
