Pain after a mentally ill man drowned in a dam Rarieda

RARIEDA: A family in Nyabera, Rarieda is mourning the loss of one of their own, Kelvin Ngeso Ogaro, aged 30, who allegedly drowned in a dam known as Adira Amoth.

Kelvin left home yesterday evening and was not seen again until his body was discovered floating in the dam.

According to a police incident report from Madiany Police Station, it was revealed that the deceased suffered from mental illness.

The report stated, “It was established from the father, Richard Ongaro Were, who informed us that the deceased had a mental illness and that he left home yesterday evening at around 7:30 PM, only for his lifeless body to be found floating in the dam.”

The body has been transported to Madiany Sub-county mortuary, awaiting an autopsy.
