Gem Yala boda boda man, who was abducted and found unconscious, has died

GEM YALA: Wycliffe Oduor Suji, a boda boda operator who was found unconscious and struggling to breathe, has passed away while receiving treatment at Yala Sub-County Hospital.

Suji went missing on July 8. A search for him began, leading to his discovery in Ulumbi Ndagaria village, where he had been dumped by his abductors.

“Suji has been found at Ulumbi Ndagaria Village. He’s unconscious and struggling to breathe; he has been rushed to Yala Sub-County Hospital,” read a police incident report recorded at Yala Police Station.

Police have launched investigations to establish the full circumstances of what transpired. Suji’s body is currently preserved at the Yala Sub-County Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
