Storm over Shakahola; Strong wind destroy Shakahola Operations camp.

KILIFI: Yesterday, strong winds wreaked havoc on the Shakahola operations camp, leaving the entire area in ruins.

The destructive winds leveled two tents housing the armory and the TV, as well as three other tents used as living quarters for police officers.

Repairing the bush tents proved challenging due to the extent of the damage.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the officers encountered numerous difficulties exacerbated by the darkness and the widespread destruction.

The Shakahola forest came under scrutiny following revelations that the sect led by the embattled Pastor Paul McKenzie coerced followers into fasting until death.

Shockingly, authorities discovered approximately 500 bodies in shallow graves, with children and women being the most severely affected.
