NYAMIRA: Investigations are underway following the collapse of a five-story building at Gesima Market in Nyamira sub-county earlier today. The building, which was still under construction, suddenly gave way, sparking panic among bystanders.

Three individuals have been reported injured and are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby facility.

Authorities including the National Construction Authority (NCA), the Kenya Red Cross Society, and the County Disaster Management Team, along with other stakeholders, have initiated an investigation into the cause of the collapse.”
