Help us bury Sgt Omondi, family in Alego Usonga pleads.

ALEGO USONGA: The family of Sgt. Cliffonce Omondi is reaching out for assistance to ensure their son receives a dignified sendoff scheduled for May 3 at their residence in Alego Kaugagi, Siaya County.

Sgt. Omondi tragically lost his life in the recent helicopter accident that also claimed the life of Gen. Francis Ogolla last week.

According to his mother, Getrude Adhiambo, Sgt. Omondi was the main provider for the family, and his passing has left them devastated.

A fundraising event has been scheduled for April 30 to aid in the preparations for his burial.

The burial ceremony will adhere to both the protocols of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and his Christian faith, as Sgt. Omondi was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church
