It is a done deal, Gor Mahia coach exits to join Gambia national team.

Jonathan McKinstry, head coach of Gor Mahia FC, will leave the club after securing their 21st title to join the Gambia national team as head coach.

Gor Mahia is close to retaining the league title, currently leading with six points margin, which they could achieve in a week when they face Muhoroni Youth FC.

McKinstry, in his second season with Kogalo, led them to their 20th title last year and is on track to defend it.

An agreement has been reached between Gor Mahia and the Gambia national team, allowing McKinstry to depart after Gor Mahia is declared champions.

Ideally, he still has three months to the end of contract, however, through a mutual agreement he will leave the club as the Assistant Coach Michel Nam will take over for the remaining games this season.
