Kenya Films boss, Ezekiel Mutua makes first money on Tik Tok

Kenya Film and Classification Board Chair Ezekiel Mutua has made his first money on Tik Tok.

He posted, “At exactly 10:20pm today, I made my first withdrawal from TikTok through my PayPal account. The journey towards sanitising TikTok through clean content has begun in earnest. I hope to serve as an example that content doesn’t have to be dirty to sell. One day, I will post a million here through clean and useful content on TikTok,” he wrote.

Mr Mutua who is a devote Christian has been in the forefront calling on the content creators to make clean content for their audience.

As a way of showing Kenyan creative industry that clean content pay, he shared a screenshot of the amount he transacted from the Paypal to Mpesa.
