JUBA: Eighteen-year-old Athiak Dau, whose story captivated social media after two affluent suitors vied for her hand in marriage, has made her choice.
She has decided to accept the proposal of Chol Marol over Marial Garang.
Initially, Mr. Garang had offered 105 cows and KSh 2.6 million, while Mr. Marol was rumored to be planning a more substantial dowry consisting of 350 cows, a Toyota V6, and a house.
After a month-long period of intense competition, Athiak’s family has reached a decision, choosing Chol Marol Deng as the fortunate groom.
