A tragic road accident occurred at Got Abiero along the Bondo-Misori road, resulting in the death of one person.

According to police investigations, the accident involved two motorcycles traveling in opposite directions.

“The deceased rider was heading from Bondo towards Misori when he collided head-on with another motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction at the middle of the road. Both riders failed to keep to their respective lanes,” stated an incident report obtained by Kondele News.

Joshua Ogunga, aged 58, tragically died on the spot. The other motorcycle rider, Kelvin Omondi, aged 47, and his pillion passenger, Paul Okeke, aged 45, sustained injuries and were rushed to Bondo Sub-County Hospital for treatment.

The body of Joshua Ogunga was also taken to Bondo Sub-County Hospital, where it will undergo post-mortem examination.

The police have detained both motorcycles for further inspection as part of their investigation into the incident.
