Am not going to Paris please, Azziad Nasenya

Actress and content creator Azziad Nasenya has vehemently denied rumors linking her to the Paris Olympic 2024 delegation, amidst mounting pressure on CS Ababu Namwamba to disclose the Olympic travel list.

In a press release dated July 11, obtained by Kondele News, the Sound City radio presenter expressed her disappointment over the spread of false information.

According to Ms Nasenya, her involvement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports was limited to her role on the Creative Technical Committee of Talanta Hela, led by Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, which was disbanded in 2023.

Addressing claims about her international travels, Nasenya clarified that her trips abroad were financed through personal funds, client sponsorships, or family support, and not at the expense of taxpayers, as alleged.

For instance, she highlighted that her visit to Dubai was fully funded by a client for a content creation campaign (#visitdubai), refuting rumors suggesting misappropriation of stadium renovation funds for personal use.

Nasenya’s press release was issued in response to claims made by a Kenyan lawyer based in Canada, Miguna Miguna who purportedly published names of social media influencers accompanying the Kenyan team to Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

The actress urged the public to verify information through her official social media channels instead of relying on and spreading unfounded rumors.
