How the police arrested the primary suspect behind Kware bodies

The detectives from the DCI and local police have successfully apprehended the primary suspect linked to the brutal killings and dumping of bodies in Kware.

The man, identified as Collins Jumaisha, is suspected to be a psychopathic killer who has been targeting and murdering female victims.

Acting Inspector General Douglas Kanja disclosed after interrogation that the suspect has confessed to the murder of 42 women, starting with his wife in 2022 and continuing until July 11, 2014.

The arrest took place at 1 am while Jumaisha was watching the final match between Spain and England.

Detectives traced the suspect through mobile money transactions linked to his victim’s phone, belonging to Josephine Owino.

During the arrest, police also recovered a machete believed to have been used in the dismemberment of victims.

Currently, efforts are underway to gather statements from additional potential victims, including a woman named Susan who was reportedly being targeted by the suspect.

The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the investigation, bringing hope for justice to the affected families and communities affected by these heinous crimes.
