At around 11:45 pm, officers from Mjambere Police Station acted on a tip-off from concerned members of the public and rushed to the scene.

The suspects, found in possession of pangas, were promptly apprehended and taken into custody. They are expected to be processed and arraigned in court.

In a statement, the National Police Service thanked members of the public for their vigilance and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace and order across communities.

“We urge citizens to continue working hand-in-hand with law enforcement officers to ensure the safety and security of all,” read part of the statement.
