UGUNJA: A yet-to-be-identified passenger was this morning found dead in his seat aboard a Trans County PSV shuttle upon arrival in Ugunja town, Siaya County.
According to preliminary reports, the man had boarded the vehicle at Mundika in Busia County.
His lifeless body was only discovered when the vehicle reached its stop in Ugunja.
Police officers from Ugunja Police Station responded to the incident and have since moved the body to Ambira Sub-County Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
