United Democratic Alliance party drama unfolded on Wednesday when self-declared secretary-general Joe Khalende was injured during a clash at the party headquarters on Ngong Road.
Supporters of the official secretary-general, Cleophas Malala, stormed the offices, leading to a heated confrontation.
In a video seen by Kondele Newsr, Khalende appeared with his head bandaged, his shirt stained with blood.
His supporters urged him to seek medical treatment immediately, discouraging him from addressing the crowd.
“You can speak to everyone from the hospital,” they advised Khalende, concerned for his well-being.
Khalende alleged that there were individuals plotting to take his life, adding a grave twist to the unfolding political turmoil.
