City lawyer and Kisumu Senate aspirant Stephen Nyandiare has expressed confidence that Raila Odinga’s AUC bid will transform the Nyanza region.

Speaking in Siaya County at the burial of his aunt Elizabeth Anyango in Karapul, Siaya County Mr. Nyandiare asserted that Mr. Odinga’s success would bring positive changes to the region.

“We are diligently working to ensure Mr. Odinga secures the AUC seat. As a community, we must all pray for the success of this endeavor because it will benefit us greatly,” said the advocate.

Mr. Nyandiare is also a member of a committee of young professionals collaborating with the government to advance Mr. Odinga’s agenda.

ODM party CEO Oduor Ongwen reiterated that the Orange party remains in opposition and has not entered any post-election agreement with the Kenya Kwanza administration.

“The government has included some leaders from ODM, but there is no pact between the Orange party and the ruling party,” stated Mr. Ongwen.
