Winnie Bwire Dida’s body has arrived at Kholera Primary School in Mumias Kakamega County.
The seasoned actor succumbed to cancer while receiving treatment in Turkey days ago.
Friends, relatives and colleagues arrived at Kholera Primary School where viewing took place.
Being a celebrity who graced the screens as a star in one of the local soap opera, her name became a household name in the village as well as the city.
She was described as a lovable person who went out to help friends.
“She made us proud. We celebrated him while a live and we thank God for the time she stayed with us. One day death will also die,” said young Eunice Wafula amidst sobs.
Her remains were flown to Kisumu before travelling by road to Mumias where she will be interred tomorrow Saturday September 21.
Days before her demise in Turkey, Ms Bwire appealed for financial assistance to aid her treatment overseas.
