Kenya High School mourning after teacher took own life

The Kenya High School was thrown into mourning after one of their teachers allegedly committed suicide.

The deceased, identified as Douglas Mogaka’s body was discovered hanging from a water tank ladder at the school compound.

The 32-year-old allegedly took his own life using a belt.

While his motive remains unknown, authorities have started investigating the matter.

The body has been taken to the mortuary awaiting autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.

Mogaka’s students and colleagues have described him as a dedicated and self driven person.

This comes as the rising cases of suicide has hit the country, raising concerns over mental health issues.
