Heartwarming gesture by DCI after donating food to less privileged

EMBU: In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) stepped beyond its traditional role yesterday, engaging in voluntary humanitarian efforts in Embu.

As part of a corporate social responsibility initiative, detectives donated foodstuffs, generously provided by Deeren Chandaria, to support the less fortunate in the Dallas and Moi Stadium neighborhoods.

The officers also visited Al-Madrasatu Shamsiyyah Madrassa, bringing smiles to the faces of young children attending their religious classes.

Maalim Musa and Fatuma Asman, local leaders who received the donations on behalf of the community, expressed immense gratitude to the DCI, noting that the contributions will help feed more than 100 families.

This visit is part of the DCI’s ongoing commitment to building strong relationships with the communities they serve, highlighting their dedication to both justice and compassion.
