Veteran court reporter Paul Muhoho was laid to rest yesterday at his home in Egashura village, Nakuru County.

Muhoho, who lost his battle with throat cancer, was celebrated for his distinguished career as one of the country’s most prolific legal reporters.

Muhoho’s career took off in the early 1980s when he made a name for himself with a bold story on police brutality against the public in Nakuru County.

This audacious move did not sit well with the top leadership of the country at the time, resulting in a visit from police officers in civilian clothes to his home.

Despite these challenges, Muhoho continued to report fearlessly, earning respect and recognition in the field of journalism.

For many years, Muhoho worked with Nation Media Group, based on Kimathi Street, before moving to Kijabe Street to continue his work as a court reporter for the People Daily Newspaper.

His extensive experience and dedication to legal reporting made him a prominent figure in the media industry.

At the time of his passing, Muhoho had retired from active journalism, leaving behind a legacy of courage and excellence in legal reporting.

His contributions to the field and his unwavering commitment to truth and justice will be remembered by colleagues and readers alike.
