Four children burnt beyond recognition in Maragua

MURANG’A: A family in Maragua, Murang’a South Sub-County, is mourning the loss of four children who perished in a devastating house fire.

According to a police report filed at Maragua Police Station, the children were burnt beyond recognition in the tragic incident.

“All were burnt beyond recognition. The scene was documented, and the bodies were moved to Murang’a Level Five Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy,” stated the report.

Mother Was Away at the Market

The report further revealed that the children had been locked inside the house by their mother, who had gone to the market at the time of the fire.

Authorities have launched investigations to determine the cause of the blaze.

This tragedy has left the community in shock, with residents calling for enhanced safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
