TikToker arrested for inciting violence against police

NAIROBI: Godfrey Mwasiaga Kakan Maiyo, the individual behind a viral TikTok video allegedly inciting violence against police officers and their families, has been arrested.

Detectives tracked Maiyo to Kimathi House in Nairobi, where he was operating a discreet office under the name “LetaPeleka Logistics.”

In a video that went viral and elicited mixed reactions, Maiyo is calling on the members of public to ‘tembelea’ officers and their families.

He is currently in police custody undergoing processing, pending his arraignment in court.
