Police Seize Chang’aa, Cannabis in Kericho Crackdown

KERICHO: Police in Kericho, collaborating with National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs), today intercepted a vehicle in Kamas Village, seizing 360 liters of suspected chang’aa and 26 packages of suspected cannabis sativa.

The operation, part of a nationwide crackdown on illicit alcohol and drugs, led to the arrest of two suspects.

A motorcycle and other items were also recovered, and the vehicle was impounded at Kabianga Police Station as investigations continue.

This incident underscores the National Police Service’s intensified efforts to curb the production, distribution, and consumption of illegal substances across the country.
