TRANS NZOIA: Authorities in Trans Nzoia County are investigating the mysterious death of a 19-year-old man who was found dead in his bedroom on Monday night.

The victim, Peter Mungaya, was discovered by family members in his home in Kiminini. According to police reports, he had sustained five fatal stab wounds to the chest and was found in a pool of blood.

The motive behind the gruesome killing remains unknown, and no suspects have been apprehended.

Police sources confirm that Mungaya had been living with his uncle at the time of the incident.

The body has been moved to the mortuary as detectives await a post-mortem examination to aid in their ongoing investigation.
