Four Suspects Arrested in Major Godown Break-in in Embakasi

NAIROBI City crime:A joint operation by law enforcement officers and members of the public has resulted in the arrest of four suspects following a break-in at the Rama homes godowns in Embakasi.

The arrests were made on Sunday after officers, acting on a tip-off, caught the individuals in the middle of a heist.

The suspects, identified as Patrick Mwangi Njue, Patrick Kariuki Karobia, Emmanuel Masika Bichi, and Thomas Mucho Sikulova, were apprehended while loading bags of lentils onto a lorry with registration number KAS 148Q.

According to a police statement, the operation was initiated after a tip from a vigilant member of the public alerted officers from the Embakasi Sub-county.

The officers responded promptly, arriving at the scene to find the suspects in the act.

Police have since documented the scene and secured key evidence.

The suspects are currently in custody and are undergoing processing. They are expected to be arraigned in court to face charges related to the break-in and theft.
