Police in Kangema arrest four kidnapping suspects

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a series of kidnappings in Kangema Sub-County.

Detectives nabbed the gang during a raid on their hideout in Kiriaini, catching them as they planned their next criminal act.

The suspects, identified as John Thuo Maina, Rose Wangari Kinyua, Peter Gathiru Kinuthia, and Nancy Wamaitha Njoki, are believed to be behind the kidnapping of a woman who was forced to withdraw Ksh. 585,000 from her bank account for her release.

Acting on intelligence, detectives from Kangema raided the location, seizing a getaway vehicle, a Toyota Corolla with registration number KBJ 419S, believed to have been used in multiple crimes.

The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue, with detectives pursuing more leads to apprehend other accomplices.
