The Digital Content Creators Association of Kenya (DCCAK) has issued a seven-day ultimatum to content creators Sheryl Gabriella and Robert Mbaya, popularly known as Baha, demanding a public apology over explicit digital material linked to them.

According to the association, the directive aims to promote responsible digital content creation and uphold ethical standards within the country’s growing online industry.

DCCAK warned that failure to comply could result in further action, including potential engagement with relevant regulatory bodies.

The controversy ignited after alleged private material associated with Sheryl Gabriella circulated widely online, sparking intense public discourse regarding digital privacy, consent, and personal accountability.

Baha, widely known for his former role in the local drama series Machachari, was similarly flagged by the association in connection with the issue.

Additionally, DCCAK indicated it is monitoring other online personalities, including Alicia Kanini, over content deemed misaligned with acceptable digital standards.

The development has also drawn commentary from public figures, such as Nairobi County official Geoffrey Mosiria, who voiced concerns over the societal impact of inappropriate online material.
