Shabana FC have made another statement of title intent in the transfer market after snatching highly-rated goalkeeper Pavelh Ndzila from Tusker FC.

The Congolese star becomes the latest marquee addition to new Egyptian manager Ahmed Ibrahim Fakhri’s squad, joining high-profile recruits Luis Ingavi, Sigmunn Maina Irungu, and Daniel Bichiok as the Glamour Boys gear up for a full-scale championship charge.

The “Glamour Boys” announced the arrival of the elite shot-stopper on their official social media platforms, welcoming him to their Gusii stronghold with the rallying cry, “All the way from Congo to Bosongo. Welcome to Tore Bobe, Pavelh Ndzila.”

Ndzila arrives at Shabana following a brief but highly successful stint with Tusker FC, ranking as one of the most surprising moves of the current transfer window.

The towering custodian originally joined the Brewers earlier in the year on a five-month contract, quickly cementing his place as the club’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.

His commanding performances between the posts stabilized Tusker’s defensive line during the second half of the campaign.

He culminated his short spell at Ruaraka by helping Tusker lift the 2026 Mozzart Bet Cup title following a 2–1 victory over Kenya Police in the final.

His acquisition comes as a direct response to the departure of reigning FKF-PL ‘Golden Glove’ winner Stephen Ochieng, who recently completed a transfer to Tanzanian Premier League side Pamba Jiji.

Shabana is banking on Ndzila’s proven experience and commanding presence to anchor their backline.
