A morning raid in Molo’s Munju area abruptly cut short the sleep of 45-year-old narcotics peddler Eric Asande Albert, landing him behind bars with a million-shilling contraband headache.

In a crack-of-dawn operation, a joint team of Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) detectives and Molo Police Station officers raided Albert’s homestead, catching the suspect completely flat-footed before he could react.

Officers turned his rooms inside out, unearthing a illicit cargo ready for the market: one full sack, a half-filled sack, and a 55 five-kilogram blue carrier bags stuffed to the brim with Cannabis Sativa.
