A multi-agency operation in Soin Sub-County has successfully dismantled a major center for the illegal production and distribution of second-generation alcoholic drinks.
The crackdown, conducted in the Mumwet area of Kaplelach Location, targeted a homestead suspected of operating as a hub for manufacturing contraband alcoholic products.
During the raid, the officers recovered a large cache of materials used in illicit production, including:Counterfeit excise stamps, Bottle caps, Branded packaging boxes, Suspected ethanol, Thousands of fake stickers.
Additionally, a vehicle believed to have been used to transport the illicit goods was impounded at the scene.
The illegal operators fled the premises upon detecting the arrival of law enforcement officers. Authorities have confirmed that investigations are currently underway to identify and apprehend all those involved in the illegal enterprise.
