In Matungulu, Machakos County, a 26-year-old man, Dennis Momanyi, was stabbed and killed following an altercation outside a local bar on November 30.

Witnesses informed police that Momanyi had earlier quarreled with his assailants inside the bar. After the attackers left, they reportedly called Momanyi outside, where they fatally stabbed him on the left side of his chest before escaping.

The motive behind the murder has not yet been established.

In the same area of Tala, police are hunting a gang of three, armed with a pistol and an AK-47 rifle, who attacked a female shopkeeper.

The attackers threatened to shoot the woman before robbing her of an unknown amount of cash and valuables. Fortunately, the victim was uninjured.

Detectives in Nakuru County are investigating the murder of Jackson Marucha, 30, whose body was found dumped in a sewage area in the Rhonda region.

Marucha had been picked up from his house early Monday morning by unknown individuals who forced him into a waiting car.

He was subsequently stabbed multiple times before his body was abandoned.

The deceased’s mother was alerted by a known caller who told her where to find the body.

Police have moved the body to the mortuary, believing he was killed elsewhere before being dumped. The motive remains unknown.
