Police FC secured a vital 1–0 victory over hosts Mara Sugar FC in a closely contested FKF Premier League encounter played today, Saturday, 24 January 2026, at Awendo Green Stadium in Migori County.
The match kicked off at 2:00 pm under dry conditions and a hot afternoon sun, setting the stage for a high-intensity contest. Both sides showed urgency in the opening half, with Mara Sugar pushing for an advantage on home soil while Police FC remained disciplined at the back.
