Police and DCI arrest two robbery suspects in Athi River.

Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Athi River are actively investigating a case of robbery with violence reported at Athi River Police Station on April 14.

The incident involved a man being cornered and robbed of his valuables, including a Prado Tx vehicle.

Subsequently, the vehicle was found abandoned along the Kitengela-Namanga road. Additionally, according to the police incident report, funds were transferred from the victim’s phone and withdrawn from his ATM.

In a collaborative effort between the Police and the DCI, two individuals suspected to be the masterminds behind the robbery have been apprehended. However, efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining members of the gang, who are believed to be armed.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are working diligently to bring all perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety and security of the community.
