Public Tip-Off Leads to Arrest of Notorious Drug Trafficker in Murang’a

Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) have arrested a notorious drug trafficker, Eunice Wangui Kimani, following a tip-off from members of the public.

The arrest was made at her residence in Kandara, Murang’a County, where officers recovered 13 gunny bags filled with bhang, weighing a total of 225 kilograms.

The seized drugs have an estimated street value of Sh6.7 million.

Also found at the scene were packaging materials believed to be used in the distribution of the illicit substances—evidence that points to a well-coordinated drug trafficking network.

Eunice Wangui Kimani is currently in custody as detectives complete the necessary processing ahead of her court appearance. The recovered narcotics have been secured and preserved as exhibits.
