UGUNJA: Residents of Tingare West Sub-location in Ugunja sub-county were left in shock after a 20-year-old man decided to take his own life following a domestic dispute with his wife.

The couple had quarreled earlier that day around 8:00 AM, leading the wife to leave their matrimonial home, leaving the husband behind.

It wasn’t until 10:00 AM that family members discovered the tragic scene: Sylvester Odhiambo Oyoo had ended his life using a manila rope inside his house.

“The police found the lifeless body of one Silvester Oyoo Odhiambo a male adult aged 20years dangling from the rafter of his house with manila rope around his neck.  Suicide note was recovered written in luo. It was established that the deceased had a disagreement with his wife at a round 0800hrs and after that his wife left,” stated a police incident report seen by Kondele News.

The body was taken to Ambira sub-county hospital awaiting autopsy.
