Muhoroni-Kisumu: Police in Muhoroni sub county are investigating the death of one Joseph Otieno who was speared to death Thursday morning in Kamagoma village.

The 40-year-old was attacked near his home at dawn and sustained deep stab wounds.

He was rushed to St. Plister health center by the locals  but he succumbed to his injuries.

Police managed to recover the murder weapon at the crime scene and took it to aid in the investigations.

The manhunt for the suspects, who have been identified, has commenced amidst tension in the village with the villager’s blood boiling for the perpetrators, thirsting to avenge the dawn murder.

The body was taken to Othoo hospital mortuary for postmortem examination even as police launched a manhunt for the suspects.
