Friends and relatives are mourning a lady who passed by a way of taking her own life after battling depression.

Mercy Nyasaka, who directed the sister to the point where her body would be found, highlighted several reasons that led her to take the drastic action.

A screenshot of her last message has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans online, some faulting her decision to take her own life.

“I am sorry to disappoint you this way, but by the time you’ll find these messages I’ll be long gone. Let my body be looked for from Sinaga bridge at River Yala,” sated the SMS sent to her sister.

Apparently, one of the factors that burdened the late lass was a strained marriage with the husband.

“Jim (husband) failed me as a husband whom I had done so much for. Tell him to pay the car loan with Mogo or they repossess it. It has only arrears for this month which is Sh55k,” the message read further.

The deceased also suffered debts from some individuals who had her land title deed and directed that the lady be contacted.

The pain of losing her daughter three years ago added to her already overburdened shoulders leading her to her final fate.
