Likoni Detectives Recover Firearm Used in Coastal Robberies, Suspect Arrested

DCI detectives based in Likoni have recovered a firearm believed to have been used in a series of violent robberies that have terrorized residents across the coastal region.

A 27-year-old suspect, Paul Odhiambo Magoya, was arrested following a sting operation in Mariakani.

The operation led officers to Prestige Guest House, where they raided Magoya’s room and discovered a CZ pistol concealed beneath his bed.

The firearm has since been submitted to the National Forensic Laboratory for ballistic analysis.

Investigations are ongoing as detectives seek to link the weapon to recent criminal incidents in the area.
