Ranguma loses 20 sheep to thugs at his Chemelil home

MUHORONI: Unknown individuals have broken into the home of former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma in Chemelil, stealing 20 sheep.

The incident, which occurred last night, prompted a swift response from police in an attempt to apprehend the suspects.

According to the neighbors, the robbers overpowered the guards on duty.

“They got into the homestead, overpowered the guards and locked them inside the servant quarters before proceeding to the shed where the animals were,” one resident told Kondele News requesting anonymity as investigations continue.

The police boss Fredrick Ombaka confirmed the incident adding that a search is underway and officers are confident the animals will be recovered soon.
