A man shocks many after carrying a dead dog and a python to police

UGUNJA: A man captured on video carrying a dead dog and a python on a bicycle has sparked a heated debate online.

The footage, recorded in Ugunja Sub-county, shows the man cycling with the carcasses of both animals.

The frail man, who appeared worked up after the death of his pet, struggled with the two carcasses which evidently had heavy weight.

He explains that the python killed his dog, which he valued deeply for guarding his home.

“Mzee hiyo unaenda kula,” a man is heard asking as the man pedals along the tarmac road.

“Hapana, naenda polisi ku report, huyu mbwa ndio alikuwa analainda mali yangu,” he responds, his voice thick with distress.

The person filming goes on to offer him a ride to Nairobi to report the matter to higher authorities and even help him get a lawyer.

Later, a photo surfaced showing the man at a police station, where he appeared to be explaining his plight to the officers on duty.
