Police arrest 11 gang members in Trans Nzoia

TRANS NZOIA: Kiminini Sub-County Law Enforcement officers have apprehended eleven individuals linked to the criminal gang known as Mbogi Yaadu.

For a while, the gang wreaked havoc on the peaceful residents of Kiminini, terrorising the communities of Birunda, Kiungani, and neighbouring areas.

The arrest unfolded as officers launched a decisive crackdown to restore safety and security to the region.

During the raid, officers recovered weapons, including bows, arrows, machetes, and knives, which the gang has been using to instil fear among innocent citizens.

The suspects are now behind bars, undergoing processing, pending arraignment at the Kitale Law Courts.
