Two suspected motorcycle-borne phone snatchers were arrested by police in Githura.

They are believed to be part of an organized syndicate terrorizing people in the area.

Guided by public tip-offs and intelligence reports tracking the gang’s movements, officers intercepted the duo as they navigated the Kamiti Road and Naivas areas within Kasarani Sub-County.

A search conducted at the scene led to the recovery of five assorted mobile phones, which police have secured as critical exhibits for trial.

Both suspects remain in police custody pending arraignment, while investigators work to trace the rightful owners of the recovered handsets.
